Hi, I'm Alan Olsen
I am a UX UI Designer and what I enjoy most is turning ideas into digital experiences that are simple, clear and meaningful in people’s lives.
I started out in law. I graduated as a lawyer at 23 but soon realized my real path was not in codes and contracts but in design. Curiosity led me to study front end, back end and finally UX UI where I found my place. A space that combines logic, creativity and empathy.
In the past four years I have worked on very different projects. From conversion optimization for agencies and e commerce to leading the full redesign of Circles, the main app of DISEO in Switzerland. There I built a design system from scratch, aligned the CEO and the development team, and showed with data and usability tests how good design can improve both the user experience and the business results.
My way of working
Listen and understand
I always start by learning deeply about the users and the business goals. I use interviews, testing and data to get a clear picture before designing.
Design with data
Every decision needs to be backed up. I analyze metrics, observe how people interact and run tests to confirm we are moving in the right direction.
Iterate and improve
A product is never finished. I believe in a living process where we test, adjust and test again. This allows us to evolve quickly and keep the experience relevant.
Lead with purpose
Beyond the interface I care about aligning teams and processes. I coordinate with development, marketing and business so that solutions are viable, consistent and impactful.
Experience
DISEO – Switzerland
(2024 – 2025)
I led the complete redesign of Circles, a Web3 social app with more than ten years of history. I organized a Figma file with over three hundred disorganized screens and created a design system with variables, tokens, components and flows. My role was to align the CEO, the development team and the users using data and usability testing. The result was a more intuitive app with stronger visual consistency and better interaction metrics.
DobleUV – Spain
(2023 – 2024)
I worked on conversion optimization for e commerce and landing pages. We analyzed flows with Google Analytics, Hotjar and A B testing. I designed improvements, prototypes and mockups together with the marketing and development team. The result was a higher conversion rate and a positive impact on business metrics.
Algeiba – Argentina
(2022 – 2023)
My first experience in UX UI. I designed digital products from wireframes to prototypes and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams. I learned how to balance business needs with user expectations and consolidated my way of working.
Freelance
I designed websites and apps for clients in different countries. I always started with research then wireframes and testable prototypes and finally adjustments based on real feedback. These projects taught me independence and adaptability.

My education started in law which gave me discipline and analytical skills. Later I trained in front end, back end and UX UI through Coderhouse and the Google UX UI Certificate. I have seen how design has changed quickly with AI and new tools that speed up processes. This is positive but also a challenge because we must not lose the essence which is listening to people and designing with purpose. For me the true value comes from combining technology with empathy and human judgment.
My experience
I am passionate about ceramics and vinyl records. These hobbies connect me with creativity and attention to detail. I practice yoga, pilates and cycling. I also play padel and football. I am a big food lover who enjoys discovering new places to eat and pairing them with a good wine. I lived in California, France and Spain and now I am back in Argentina with a broader perspective that also influences how I design and how I live.
